Suggestion Rules

Suggestion Rules

Suggestion rules let you set persistent, automated logic for which suggestions appear on product pages. Instead of relying entirely on AI-generated suggestions or editing pages one by one, you can define rules that match against your catalog data and apply to every product that fits your criteria, now and in the future.

What’s new

  • Rule-based suggestion matching: Define conditions using product tags, categories, or custom attributes, and pair them with specific suggestions. When a visitor lands on a matching product page, those suggestions appear automatically.

  • Composable condition builder: Build rules with up to five conditions joined by AND/OR logic. The condition builder auto-populates with your actual catalog facets, so you're always working with real data.

  • Priority ordering with drag-and-drop: Rules are evaluated in order, and the first match wins. Reorder them with drag-and-drop to control which rules take precedence.

  • Graceful AI fallback: When no rule matches a product page, the system falls back to AI-generated suggestions. Rules and AI work together, not as a replacement.

Why we made these changes

For brands with large catalogs, editing suggestions page by page doesn't scale. A store with thousands of products needs a way to say "for all shoes tagged Summer, show these suggestions" without touching each page individually. Suggestion rules solve that by letting you express intent at the catalog level. They apply retroactively to existing products and automatically cover new ones that match your criteria, which means your suggestions stay relevant as your catalog grows.

Notifications

Notifications

We've added a notification system to Anagram so your team never misses important updates.

What’s new

  • Notification bell: A bell icon in the sidebar shows an unread count badge, giving you a quick glance at what needs attention.

  • Slide-out panel: Click the bell to open a notification sheet with your latest alerts — each with a title, message, timestamp, and optional deep link to the relevant page.

  • Real-time delivery: Notifications arrive instantly via real-time push, with a toast appearing as soon as something happens, no refresh needed.

  • Mark as read & delete: Manage your notifications inline — mark them as read with a click, or dismiss them with the trash icon.

  • Team-wide alerts: Notifications are sent to all members of a project automatically. When a Shopify sync completes, for example, everyone on the team gets notified with a link to the Data Hub.

Why we made these changes

As teams grow and workflows get more complex: syncing product catalogs, managing data, collaborating across experiences — it's easy to miss important events. Notifications bring those moments to you so you can act on them right away, without having to check each page manually.

A refined end-user experience, built for real layouts

A refined end-user experience, built for real layouts

We’ve shipped a major UI refresh to the Anagram end-user experience, designed to feel more intentional, modern, and flexible across real customer pages, especially PDP sidebars.

What’s new

  • Simplified layout: The avatar icon has been removed to free up space and avoid layout issues on smaller screen sizes.

  • Updated buttons: Buttons now use a refreshed design that feels clearer and more intentional.

  • Shining Prompt Input: The Prompt Input now supports an animated “shining border.” Choose from three color gradients or disable it entirely in the Design tab.

  • Subtle glow effect: A new center “smudge” adds a soft glow to the Prompt Input for a more polished, modern feel. This can also be toggled off in the Design tab.

  • Smarter branding: “Powered by Anagram” is hidden on initial load and appears only after a user interacts with the experience, keeping pages clean while still preserving attribution.

Why we made these changes

Over the past few months, we’ve learned a lot from real-world usage. As Anagram moves into more PDPs and tighter sidebar placements below the Buy button, the previous UI felt constrained. This new design performs far better in smaller footprints while still feeling premium when there’s more space.

Location Finder

Location Finder

Find the right location, right when it matters

We’ve released Location Finder, a new Anagram skill that helps customers quickly find the closest store, dealer, or service location directly from your site.

How it works

  • Flexible placement: Use Location Finder as the starting state of an experience, or integrate it into another experience flow.

  • Context-aware: Anagram surfaces Location Finder automatically when it’s most helpful, guiding users to where they should go.

  • Centralized data: Manage all of your locations in one place using Location Sets in the Data Hub.

  • Easy setup: Add locations via CSV upload or manual entry, then publish and embed with no code.

  • Built-in insights: Track engagement and usage from the Metrics tab after launch.

As a bonus, Location Finder works seamlessly alongside other Anagram experience types, making it easy to combine product guidance, support, and location discovery in a single flow.
